Woodsia cochisensis

A species found in southwestern New Mexico and southeastern Arizona. Distinctive in gestalt once you've seen a few of them, but difficult in technical characters. Populations that (according to M.D. Windham) appear to be hybrids between W. plummerae and either W. neomexicana or W. phillipsii are particularly confusing, and will key out to W. cochisensis. Fortunately, such hybrids are not common.
