Verbesina longifolia
A plant of oak savannah in southeastern Arizona and adjacent New Mexico. The genus is
identifiable by its winged achenes oriented along the radius of the pseudanthium, and the
species, as its name suggests, is distinguished by its long, narrow leaves.
