Sisyrinchium arizonicum
A yellow-flowered blue-eyed grass found in southeastern Arizona and southwestern New
Mexico. Unlike other yellow-flowered Sisyrinchium in the area, the stems are
branched and leafy. Not realizing there were any yellow-flowered
Sisyrinchium, I originally thought this was a Hypoxis; thanks to R. Osorio for
correcting me.
Flowers near the Reef townsite in the Huachuca Mts., 8/8/05.
Plant habit in the Huachucas, 8/8/05.
