Sicyos laciniatus L.

An herbaceous vine with small, bristly fruits and shallow-lobed, coarsely toothed leaves, found infrequently in southern Arizona, southern New Mexico, and adjacent Texas. Like several of our other small-fruited cucurbits, although not often seen it can be very abundant whenever it is found.
