Pholistoma auritum subsp. arizonicum
A weak-stemmed, somewhat scrambling winter annual of the Sonoran Desert, similar to
Eucrypta micrantha but with reflexed lobes between the sepals, to which the specific
epithet (meaning "eared") refers. Subspecies arizonicum has smaller flowers than
subsp. auritum.
