Phlox longifolia
A narrow-leaved Phlox found throughout most of the western United States, including New Mexico exclusive of the eastern plains. Taxonomy of the species is complicated, with F.J. Peabody recognizing five varieties, and other authors often considering some of these to be distinct species. There does not, however, appear to be an adequate treatment of the group; hence I will merely list them all as P. longifolia.
