Houstonia rubra Cav.

A low, caespitose Houstonia with pink flowers and long corolla tubes. Found in much of New Mexico, though I have rarely seen it.

Plant habit on the northwestern bajada of the San Andres Mountains, southwest of Big Gyp Mountain, Sierra County, New Mexico, 15 Aug 2013.
