Hedeoma nanum (Torr.) Briq.

A common but inconspicuous plant on low, rocky slopes. As with other Hedeoma, the specific epithet should properly be neuter (ending in "um"), but is often mistakenly "corrected" to a feminine ending (e.g., "nana").
