Calycoseris wrightii
A cichoriid aster flowering in the spring at low elevations in the Sonoran Desert and
less commonly in the Chihuahuan Desert, similar to Rafinesquia neomexicana but with
tack-shaped glandular hairs on the phyllaries and upper stems.
