Brassica tournefortii Gouan
This is a very invasive plant from northern Africa. It formed a near monoculture over
many square miles of desert along I-8 near the Mohawk Mountains when I went through the area in
late February, 2005. In southern New Mexico it is common along I-10 and I-25, but does not
seem to have spread away from roads yet (as of 2011).
