Boechera divaricarpa

A widespread species, peripheral in New Mexico. This species is found primarily in high-elevation meadows and is similar to Boechera stricta. It differs from that species in having ascending rather than erect fruits, and in having stalked rather than malpighiaceous trichomes on the basal leaves. In its traditional circumscription, which I am following here, it is a polytypic species including many hybrids between B. stricta and other taxa.
