Silene bernardina

A clumping species of rock outcrops, found from southern California to southern Oregon. Much like Silene lemmonii, but with erect rather than pendent flowers. Very glandular-viscid.

A flower ca. 1 mile west of Bald Mountain, east side of the Kern River, southern Sierra Nevada, Tulare Co., California.
