Heliotropium glabriusculum

A plant of seasonally-flooded areas in west Texas. The stems have malpighiaceous hairs.

Plant habit on the Dog Canyon Trail at Big Bend National Park, 16 Apr 2007. Most of the plants seemed to be tilted towards the south, for whatever reason.
