Anulocaulis leiosolenus (Torr.) Standl. var. howardii Spellenberg & T.Wootten

A large rosette-forming perennial with pinkish flowers that are open at night. This variety is endemic to the gypsum north of the entrance to Pup Canyon on the west side of the Guadalupe Mountains.
